Hello friends and fellow members! Welcome to the month of April and another round of bs. I hope you all have a great day and enjoy the following ones as well. Warm weather is just about upon us and its time to shine the rides!
good job Scott, I'm glad you guys are on the ball, I'd still be posting in the December chat thread.
I'm with you there J (could you put your name in your sig, it's easier to talk to a mike or john or sam, personalizing talk to "zippittydoda89-4X4blackbeauty" is really difficult). I'm having trouble with my front end and braking though. Just had new brakes, new manual hubs, inner and outer bearings and races put on then the anti-lock kicked out and When I hit a bump my truck likes to start a shimmy dance across the highway. I figure if I take it out and thrash it hard enough it'll start to behave on road, or break.

Yep, it's April. Two weeks until the 15th. Are you ready?
Actually, the sun is shining, and hopefully will dry out the meadow some. Gotta go load all those muddy fence posts I pulled just before it rained.
Anybody know how difficult it is to roll up woven wire horse fence thats all wrinkled up? Thats after pulling & rolling up the 5 strands of high tensile wire that backed it.
And let me tell you about the one post -some were loose enough that I could lift them out of the ground. Some i had to chain & lift using the truck. The last one was a bit(h! - (7" diameter PT post). Hooked on to it, pulled it up some, was real loose, but couldn't lift it out. Wound up giving it three more tries, hole kept getting bigger & bigger. Finally just gave up and brute forced it...Go Ford! Turns out someone had cross drilled the post in two places at the bottom and inserted two 3/4 inch re-rod about 18 inches long, then buried the post!
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. ' Passed the exam today! I am now a licensed instigator!
I'm scrambling to get my 72 back together. When the weather finally straightens out I've got a bunch of other projects to work on so I want it done. I dream about driving it all winter so come summer I want to be able to enjoy it.
Hey, I was wondering if anyone was going to the spring Carlisle car show? I believe it is kicking off on the 23rd. My brother and I will be there on Saturday the 25th hoofin it around the place.
I grew up about 3/4 of a mile from the place, and remember how rainy and muddy it used to be back in the day. My brother after all these years has only missed one, or two of these shows. He really enjoys them, and the funny thing is he doesn't have any sort of collector vehicle.
I just replaced the ball joints and tie rods on the right side, my sway bar bushings need replacing, I'll probably get that done next week. I do need an alignment pretty badly though, I've been doing it with a tape measure, works somewhat but really needs to be put on a rack.
