Hello to all and I hope you made it through tax day without too much pain. It lools to be a nice first half to the weekend before we get back into the rain again on Sunday afternoon. I hope you all have a good weekend and catch up with you all later!

Well hello there friends hope your all doing well. My vacation has come and gone thank god. I have had better vacations thats for sure. Well made it home weather was decent so I got another section of fence torn down and the post removed. Then I made my trip to DC to visit friends it was ok weather went bad so we didn't get out as much as we would like to have. Returned from DC went to NJ for some work stuff again bad weather but hey who can complain about free schooling. Well went home worked on the 78 new seats and carpet all seemed well she was running good. Well while doing some body work I got a piece of metal or dirt in my eye even with safety glasses on I got crap in my eye and had to make an emergency eye doctor visit. So I didn't get to meet up with another member for which I'm sorry. Well Clay I did make it up Saturday and we ate at the joint acrossed from stop35 saw 25 of my family and got to pay for it all figured it was the least I could do since I ask every one to get together. After leaving the gathering I was bound for my grand parents well on the way there my clutch linkage decided to take another direction. O here I was stuck in the middle of no where cell phone would have made a good skipping stone if I were near water. Well I got the 78 in second gear and drove it for two hours thats how long it took me to get to the camper at the edge of my grandparents property. Well I used a pair of pliers and screw driver to rig her back together thought I had here all worked out was I wrong lol. Any way made it home late Sunday night. Like I siad thought I had the clutch linkage rigged up good enough to drive so I was going to the store to get parts to fix and shabang linkage I mean screwdiver and pliers let go. Hope the next vacations much better.

To use an old cliche it sounds like you had a good run of bad luck.

Mike, sounds like my kind of luck. No matter how i plan, Murphy just can't leave me alone. Sorry I missed meeting up with you, hopefully next time...
At lease you did get some work done. So, you tried the Family Restaurant? How was the food? Last time we ate there it wasn't anything to brag about. And cell phones, in this area, well, it's a cell by itself. Gives new meaning to "dead zone".

Well Murphy must have thought we were best friends he seemed to be all around. As to the family restaurant the food wasn't very good. My family has met up in a private room they have there and had them do thefood and that was ok but this time the food wasn't good. Well maybe when I have off in Sept we can meet up then were see how the luck plays then.

I'm convinced this PA weather doesn't know which end is up! It's about 34 here in the mountains today...but to be 70 by the weekend. Guess it'll be time to wax up the Explorer if it gets that warm...it could use a good bath and wax job.

They are calling for the 80's by Sunday here but I don't know if I can trust what the forecasters say

Your right about that! Here they are saying 83 for Saturday, and 82 on Sunday. The car show kicked off Thursday (Carlisle)and was 50 here, so we will see. I will be there on Saturday so I guess I will have to dress accordingly.

I hear ya on the weather. It's 45 or so here now. Supposed to be mid 50's tomorrow then warmer Friday. I've been cutting up a couple of parts cars for my dad. The one advantage to this goofy weather is it's keeping the snakes and flying s o b's ( hornets ) in hibernation.

Yesterday I filled in what I thought was an abandoned groundhog hole. Turns out Mr. Groundhog was still using it. Today I refilled it with rocks. If he digs it out again I'm gonna leave him a nice tasty treat.
