Radio not working

Hey guys I have a 2001 F350 I use as a work truck. Yesterday I was out working and I had my door open with the radio on and i couldn't take much more of the door chime going off so I started poking around under the dash and pulled the number 3 relay out from the fuse panel, well the chime stopped working and so did my radio but when i put the relay back in it still wont work. I have checked all my fuses with a voltmeter and none are blown. I also replaced the relay I took out with another one and that didnt work. Any Ideas?

Take a look at the socket that the relay plugs into. One of the connections may have come loose.

I looked at the connections and even pushed a spade connector into them just to make sure none of them were loose but they are all tight. This has got me so frustrated.

When you plugged the relay in did the chime come back on?

You can kill that chime when the key is in the ignition by disconnecting the black/puple wire that plugs into the key switch reciever.Jim probably has a picture but Chris(F350-6) showed me how to get rid of it.

No the chime never came back on thats why I thought it was a fuse but I have tested each and every fuse in the panel and in the distrobution box.
