Uhm, I'm pretty sure they still make it, the 2wd model at least - they changed it a bit, particularly the radius arms, but tis essentially still the same thing.

'97 F250's were the last ones with the TTB one tons had the solid axle since the begining of time. '99 and up used a solid axle for the 3/4 and 1 tons.

79 F350 had solid axle. From 80-85, the F350 was using the TTB D50. In mid '85, Ford switched to the solid D60 in DRW trucks. And then shortly after, all F350's were using the monobeam D60.

Twin I-beam is the 2wd front suspension, and you will still find it under 2wd S/D's and 250 and bigger E-Series vans.
TTB was an 80-97 only thing. The dates on the F350's having TTB are correct.

Indeed. One correction tho,TTB and twin I-beam is the same thing - TTB is the name of the overall design, and it can be had in I-beams (2wd) or hollow formed beams (4x4).

TTB- Twin Traction Beam 4wd only

TIB- Twin I- Beam 2wd only

The basic design and function is the same, but the names aren't interchangeable.

Hm, okay then, guess some of the engineers working on Ford programs back at my old job never got it quite right, haha!
