oopsy

hey hey, bunch of crap that came up unexpectdly as always...

my theory that there would be some airspace in a 15-qt drain pan and that after 3k mi my truck would have burned a little oil...uhhh, yeah, not so much.

for the record, don't drain a 16-qt diesel into a standard drain pan. it does NOT work.

lol i had that same problem with my stang... 6 qt oil pan... 5 qt drain pan... word oops comes to mind when i wasnt paying attention to the engine draining...next time i didnt have that problem lol... dad bought a new BIGGER drain pan for his truck... would have to look to see how much it holds... nice thing i like about it though is it has a nice lil spot to put the filter on for it to drain... out others we just dropped them in the pans and they never really drained...

I had a hamster escape back when I was a kid that we never could catch again, he lived in that old house for a long time. Guess he took up with the mice.

Hey Shawn, the best part about painting is that when done, you get to watch the paint dry.

all done... 2 1/2 hrs and no more leak.. no more leaky truck.. well so long as i dont park it nose downhill... oil pan leaks in the front.. but so long as i park it nose uphill or flat it no leaks lol.. cant fix that one which is annoying... GM never made a gasket that went all around the pan.. just ones up the sides and ya had to use RTV to seal the rest... and that engine cooks RTV..
