rebuild kit for a highboy steering column

Hey guys,
Does anyone sell any kind of rebuild kits for the highboy steering column? I have had no luck finding the correct steering column for my 73 F250!

Thanks,
Joel

Kits can be cheaper than individual parts sometimes. :)
The parts are available.

not sure where you are but all you have to do is go to the local auto wrecking yard pull a column from any 4X2 73 thru 77, pull the steering wheel off, remove the c clip off top of shaft let it fall out the bottom and put your high boy shaft in the 4X2 column and yuu're good to go. Where I am I could have 15 at one yard close to me.

Good Luck

Really!
I was thinking it wouldn't fit because LMC list a lower bushing for the 4x2 but not for the 4x4. Anyway Thanks! I'm going down to the junk yard tomorrow.

I just used the 4X2 1974 column from my donor and the really nice bushing from the 4X2 slid right on my high boy 1975 shaft with no problem. It's easy to do, good luck. I never found a bad 4X2 column, I think everyone pulls them selves up to the seat in the hi-boys and the strain on the bearings go to crap. you will need to also remove the signal switch but just take the wires out of the plug, remember to tie a string to them to pull them back through.make a drawing of the color of wires to put back in the plug.

Good luck
