whats the difference between

a f350 and a f250? I have been doing a lot more pulling/hauling than I thought that I would do with my truck. And I was thinking about changing my truck to a 350 if I could. What all is different suspension wise? Would there be a big enough difference to change things over? Thanks for all the help!

I had a 06 350 6.0 traded that in for a 08 250 I got a better deal on a 250 than the 350. I changed the rear blocks which add 1 3/4" height and put on timbrens and up front I put 6000# springs with a 2" leveling kit. All that said I plow with a Boss 9'2" and have a sander loaded with +-1 ton of salt. The rest of the year I pull a horse and landscape trailer ( not at the same time ) and find the 250 is more than enough. The front axles are rated the same the rear end is the difference. Technically if you carry more than 3/4 ton you need the 350. If you are pulling a fifth wheel you should have a 350 or even a dually. You get more gvwr with a 350 than with a 250.

I was planning on towing with a gooseneck but not as much as i have been. So I figured that a 250 would do me fine but I was mistaken. And I cant buy a new truck.
