I just want to start the gears for a meet in April. Any suggestions for locations and date? Nelson suggested a restaurant in Waldorf. Any other ideas? Meet will most likely be discussion of the May meet which will be at MIR for the Truck show.
Do they still have the stop on the corner of 17 and 301? Man, that coffee was to drive for. It's been a lot of years since I was down that way. (On my route to Norfolk, etc.)
It goes into Virginia. Used to take it down to 64 into Norfolk, and Va. Beach. Back in the '70s when I was in the Navy, it used to be a winding-a$$ed two lane. Probably an 8-lane now...
Ok, due to a reschedule of the March 28th's meet venue we will be doing the Spring Swap Meet and Test and Tune on April the 11th. Gates open at 9am. See you there!

Less then a week away. Everyone still planing on going?
Yeah man I will be there providing we are without rain. I plan on running my 03 Lightning few times down the track. It ran a 12.93 but that was without the tuner, Magnaflow Cat Back and the extra 2lb pulley. So I am hoping for a low 12 or high 11!
I need another set of NITTO Extreme 555's anyway so i plan on shaving some rubber man!
NOTE: I hear that it isnot a good idea to do a burnout on street tires. I will do the first few runs without a burnout but am wondering why it is not recommended? My thought is that you would loose traction and spin because water still remains between the treads afterwards. Any feedback on this?
