My 51 F1 didn't have one but the 51 F3 parts truck that I brought home today has one on it, well it did I also removed it today.

here is a couple pictures of it.

the one that came off the early 50 f1 didn't have the hole in it for the road draft tube, the road draft tube on the Merc that was in it angles back instead of coming stright down like this 51.
the 50 f1 also had a straight 6 in it originally so ??

Josh, although the picture that you provided is a great reference and would be helpful in the gravel shield thread, what JimD was asking about were the fender gravel shields. They attach to the inside of the fender behind the wheel.

I believe that my 52 Panel has them mounted, but I can't take any pictures of them because it's packed away in the garage.

Right, I missed that! LOL this 51 F3 does has the fender gravel shields I will take a picture of them in the morning, (if it's not snowing?) weather shows 2-4 inches tomorrow! I'm not ready for winter yet
I think I have some other fender gravel shields tucked away somewhere (I think from a 51 F7)? but not sure? also I wonder if they are the same for F1?
anyway's I'll post the pictures soon as I can.

Cheers

Josh, thanks for the effort. I understand fighting the elements. Post the pics of the gravel shields when you get a chance. Thanks again.
