U joint grease

OK so after reading this thread I got under my truck (2003 F250 SD CC 4x4 5.4L) and found 4 zerks on the steering stuff. I didn't see any zerks on any of the u joints, so ... I guess I'm good there?
Also, my Haynes manual says for trucks with an auto transmission to "lubricate the shift linkage with a little clean engine oil",
and for 4WD trucks to "lubricate the transfer case shift mechanism contact surfaces with clean engine oil",
and also to "lubricate the drive shaft slip joint." Which apparently may involve some dis assembly of the drive shaft.
No pictures provided for these last three. Can any of you knowledgeable folks please guide me to the shift linkage, transfer case shift mechanism, and drive shaft slip joint? Sorry for all my noob questions, but I'm a noob. I promise to help others once I know enough to help them
