If you find a front-end wreck you could pull the bed and slice off the whole rear frame section well ahead of what you need. Splicing it in requires a SKILLED weldor/fabricator, but could certainly be done. It isn't a welding job for the inexperienced.
The other way is to look for a truck that needs an engine, trans, or both and just use the 250 for parts.
