First of all thanks to all who came to the first Mississippi GTG, it was a beautiful day with good people, good conversation and food, it doesn't get any better than that. Thanks everyone for what you brought. Hopefully the next GTG will be bigger and have more members. Here's a list in no particular order, Johnny (Tangi Cowboy) came up from Lousiana, Marc (marcsmithracing), David (Scndsin) and his wife Terri, Phillip (sign_man), Mitch (Mitchissippi) and myself Barry ( BarryMc) and my wife Lamenda, my mother Ginny and two ford truck friends not in the chapter, Hollis and Mark. .

Hey Folks, I enjoyed my trip up to Byram Yesterday, had a great time, and really appreciated the hospitality, I enjoyed meeting everyone, and plan on putting something together down in Kentwood, probably in June. Thanks Again
Man looks like y'all had a good time. Hate that I missed it. Next time around I hope I can get free and come down. Man I wished I had a garage with that kind of room.
David post them pics you got. Did you get any pics of the car show from up the road?
I didn't take my camera to the car show (just flat forgot it), but Johnny did. Ment to ask him to get a pic of the GT-500, but I was busy looking elsewhere.
I've got to edit my pics down for excessive file size & I'm waiting for some tech support Qs to be answered. Will get them out later.
Just want to say we have some great folks. Hope this will inspire existing members to participate more in the chapter as well as attract new ones.
Besides good fellowship, the leftovers were great. Yesterday I had brownies for breakfast, hamburger for lunch & smoked sausage for supper...

Thanks for having us Barry! I had a ball! Fine folks. Good cookin'. And the location made me feel right at home. I'm glad I got to put a face with the names.
Phil's a little more used to it than I am - but I was a little road weary. I left out from home at 3:44 in the a of m (as Archie Bunker would put it) and had about 450 miles on my donkey by the time we hit the shindig. It was a long day - but a FUN day! I look forward to doing it again.
like everyone else said thats for having us barry had a great time.... since there's a few of us in such a close area... we could have somthing like this every so offten.... get together put in a helping had on sombody's project.... i'm sure we all could use a hand every now and again.
I sure am sorry that I missed the G2G. The bosses had made plans that could not be changed and I didn't feel that we could leave our commercial accounts without coverage. Maybe we could get together down here in October during the next cruising the coast.

Glad to hear you made it back home & didn't wind up locked inside & on the side of the road in your GMC version of "Christine"....
