Any difference???

Hi There,

Is there any difference between a 2006 Ford F250 and a F250 super duty? Or are they all considered F250 SD?

Thanks for your help...

From 1999 to present, if it's a F250 or greater, then it's a Super Duty.

Actually I seem to remember when I bought my '99 SD F250 there was also a "Heritage" Edition F250 which was an F150 body style and engine options but with the heavier F250 suspension. It was not a Super Duty. It was badged as an F250. I don't remember if it was a one year only as I am well past age 50 and those brain cells have been lost forever. Am I wrong?

You are correct. It was also a 7 lug truck I believe.

The "light duty" F250 was sold as a model year 1998, not a 1999.
