Fuel Filler problem

Fuel Filler problem
Having a strange problem with two Fords and can use some help. I have a 93 F250 5.8 with the dual tank setup. Neither tank will take fuel. Its sitting out of gas and when I try and fill it, it will take a cup or two then back up and fill the filler neck and overflow. Both tanks do the same thing. I pulled the filler pipe out and it is clear all, no obstructions, same with the connector hose going into the tank. Its a short straight shot and I can see right into the tank. The filler pipe has 6 or 8 vent holes around the main fill hole. I also have a 91 F150 5.0 dual tank setup that has the same problem. I haven't pulled that one apart but the filler pipe on it has no vent holes, just the main fill hole. My question is, my 87 F150 has no problems filling fuel. I had an 87 parts truck and when I pulled the bed off, I found a hoes inside the filler pipe. Ive been told that the inner hose can kink and cause slow fill but should the 93 have a hose inside as well. Ive looked on JMC's website and cant verify that inner hose. Anyone have an answer. Thanks

all of my fords do that. you have to pull the nozzel out a little bit, and fuel slowly. some stations are worse than others, as they pump the fuel out really fast, and it backs up where the fuel turns the corner into the tank. I have replaced the center hose, removed it, and even cut it shorter, nothing changed, so I just fuel slowly.

Were not talking slow, we are talking SSSSSLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWW. It would take three days to put 10 gallons in this thing. I have to believe that there should be a hose around the spout of the center fill that keeps fuel from just puddling and not allowing air to escape through the little side holes. Does anyone have a 93 that has that style filler that has had it off? Just want to know before I go search a bone yard for something that might not exist.

I should say first that I am not familiar with your truck as mine is a diesel. However there should, I would think, be a vent tube at the base of the filler tube where it meets the tank. On older cars this would just run up the filler tube and connect in at the neck allowing air to escape from the tank as the fuel went in. However on newer vehicles, due to emissions regs, this pipe should run along the frame rail to the charcoal canister under the hood. I would assume, although I could be wrong on this, that the vent pipe is blocked/pinched.
Just my opinion.

My 93 f-250 has the tubes inside both filler hoses. I had the same problem after I put my flatbed on it. I didn't put the fillers through the side rails, for a long time, so my fillerswere mounted under the bed. This made my fillers to low to fill up. I fixed that by cutting a 4x4 block of wood so I could drive up on it when I filled up. Worked like a charm, but was a pain in the butt to do all the time. I finally got around to cutting the holes in the side, like I should have done before.
