Not much difference between oil temp and the coolant temp, so I would rock the oil pressure gauge, no point in spending cash on two gauges that more or less relay the same info.

I would get a real oil pressure gauge. IMHO any brand of electricly activated o/p guage is still an idiot light with a needle. A mechanically activated o/p gauge will always show the real oil presure in the engine because it acts on the actual oil pressure to the gauge. Dan.

Well I received the trany gauge and mount the other day. Took them and mocked up the install. I'm not happy with the look of the Autometer Carbon Fiber gauge. The fiber face is much too coarse a weave and does not come close to matching the weave of the trim panel on my dash. I'm now looking at the Autometer Sport comp II series gauges. I will be going with a Trany temp and an oil pressure gauge.

that is why I went with the Cobalt series. The gauge faces are black with white lettering. seems to tie in with my black FX4 dash pretty well IMO

as mentioned previously though, not exactly happy about the blue light at night...gives the truck a "tuner" look. and they are very obvious outside the truck when lit up

The Sport Comp II gauges light up white. I'll probably get the 9114 dimmer for them.
