I used to hand out rep until I ran out day after day.

Then figured I must be about the only one.

So finally stopped.

Why does it exist?

Does anyone really know.

I got a good rep today from a sweet lady on here, thats the first rep I have gotten in a long time, despite my having given out hundreds and hundreds.

So since its rarely used, is it more just in existance as a joke?

Maybe its like our current governement, its absolutely useless, but still around for some stupid reason.

Reputation, you add to it if someone posts something you like. Or if someone is helpful to you. To add you click on the little scale icon on someone elses post.
