I pondered the idea of putting an RV cam in mine for more power, but it already uses enough fuel, so I figure I will just leave it.

Replaced the brake shoes on the YJ last night (existing shoes were beyond toast) and put new ones on with a new spring kit and I'm REALLY impressed. It's probably the most firm brake pedal I've ever had on a vehicle, score! First side took me about 90 minutes, second side took about 20 minutes, lol.

Went ahead and rotated tires while I had them off and then tried to bolt on a new muffler\tailpipe assembly, that didn't go so well. The previous owner cut the catalytic converter off and welded on a really long glasspack w/downspout so I couldn't "bolt in" the new setup without cutting the welds and adding pipe. I farmed out that work to the tire shop up town and they've been working on it a couple hours now, I feel like the bill for it may be more than I'm hoping for at this point :|

I am pricing additional body armor for my JK, I think it is doable, but it sure is pricey.

Sounds expensive. I'll be a good friend and offer to take it off your hands so you don't have to dump a bunch of money into it. I'll trade you a whole fleet of atv's so you and the girls can still go wheeling. Whaddaya say?

that sounds like a heck of a nice offer, but I am thinking that the JK is now part of who I am. I can't imagine life without it.

I bet. It sure is a nice rig.

Clint, dad and I all loaded up my truck, most of the tools and the 429 from the storage shed to bring home and put in the new garage.

Multicolored 460 might be missing a piece or two, but lets us know the 429 will fit.

More stuff

And she's home.
