I got POJ pulled up to the garage to do some fixing on it. It has always started, but this time I can't get any fuel to the carb. I didn't crawl under it down below, but am guessing I will need to either replace rubber fuel line and maybe the hard line from the tank to the area of the fuel pump.
It would fire on starter fluid or by putting a little gas in the intake through the carb.
Flip, when I crawled under it this morning I found a short hose section of the fuel line had a hole in it from exactly that. It may be a quick fix. I had to run and pick up some fuel line. Also, I have a leaking wheel cylinder on the passenger side rear. I picked up one of those too.
I ended up having to replace the fuel pump again on POJ. It now starts and runs. I have a hard start problem after it has run for a bit. It seems like the vacuum advance in not dropping back and it won't turn over until it sits for a bit. Any ideas?
Fixed the leaky pinion seal yesterday so that should take care of all the leaks on the front axle. Now to just fix the power steering and t-case leak and it won't need cardboard under it in the garage anymore, yay!
In my old garage with cracked, stained, ancient concrete I didn't mind so much. This floor is only a few years old so I figured I'd at least try to take care of it
Got gas tank back together, strained the gas from the old tank into the other one, runs and doesn't leak. Now I need to trade the 3.89 center section, for something higher
