thanks flip but i would need a new bed, cab, front clip and hood.... she served me well but i will just have to sacrifice her so something else may live
Smoken, sorry to hear about your loss brother! They don't build em Ford tough like they used to though! It's a shame that a classic has to go to the final resting place at the scrap yard like that though!
Sad day at our household, sold the F-150 today. Held the record for longest vehicle ownership for myself, 4 years! Had it listed for about 30 hours before I had a buyer so it went pretty quick. Now to get my CJ sold and then we'll be down to the Denali and the new-to-me 93' Wrangler.
After I get the Wrangler fixed up (won't take much) I'll be in the market for a classic truck. My wife just doesn't know it yet
well i believe i am in good hands apparently the fella that the insurance people sent out to inspect my truck personally owns a turquoise 65 F100 and is a Ford man himself and runs a body shop so i am hopeful that he will do me right and if he knew the time i have put into the truck...motor trans multiple driveshafts rearend swap brake upgrades etc etc
well fellas i got the 66 to my shop and in an hour and 15 minutes i had the motor out and sitting on the floor and the truck parked next to smokenchoke now just gotta drag the 72 in tomorrow and pull whats left of the motor in it out and replace it with the one from the 66 but all that has to wait till noonish since i got pick up my rebuilt 460 for Red Dawg gonna be a busy weekend
