My brother had a problem like this when he was rebuilding his bike. He said something about an in-tank sealant he used after he etched the rust out. Not sure what it was called though.

I'm sure it's worth it if you don't have enough for a new tank. At least it will protect your fuel system until you can get one.

A demolition derby friend gave Me a tank out of a '96 Town Car I'll strap that down in the bed, run lines to the pump and run off that tank for now

Haha! I remember going out an cutting down a tree every year. Getting it in the stand was the first hard part. Getting it in the house was another. Usually had to trim off a bunch of limbs to do it. Luckily the tractor's brush hog made a nice platform for draggin it out of the woods. That old Ford 9N is still kicking after all this time.

I imagine it would taste something like regular pork. With a more gamey taste.

Probably because of getting a tag might be difficult.

That and I'm not sure I've ever seen a boar in KS. I see Elk and coyote all the time though.

Kansas does not allow hunting of wild pigs. They passed the law to discourage people for importing or releasing pigs into the wild as they cause horrible damage to other game and the environment. The state has been trying to eradicate them. They killed off the pig population on Ft. Riley about 10 years ago and have been trying get rid of them in SE Kansas. I would report it to the local KWPT office. They might give you a permit to kill any you see.

Your local game warden might be able to help you too. I guess that's why I never see boar on Ft. Riley. Guess it's all about that Elk lotto now!
