I didn't work on the truck, but did some repairs on the 5th wheel camper. We also had to go to a Bday party for a grandson on Saturday and watch the little guys play flag football on Sunday.
Waiting on my new manual steering box to come in. Last week I was driving the CJ to work when I hit a bump, pulled up on the steering wheel, and the steering shaft in the engine bay disconnected from the steering wheel shaft
Luckily I was already going slow but I figured that it was finally time to replace the steering box where all the slack was coming from. Now I'll have all new steering components from the steering shaft to the tie rod ends, better drive nice when I'm done!
Jeff, you probably have a ground issue. On one of my old trucks, I finally got the turn signal to work by running a ground wire to a screw that I tapped into the frame close to the rear tail light.
