got my 78 finished finally and fired it up let it run for a little bit and whatcha know that 460 was so thirsty it drank all its gas....silly truck now i can't drive it home til next payday
aired up the tires in my JK, one was really high pressure the others were really low, but they weren't squatting, so I guess I didn't hurt them too badly.
I replaced the mechanical fuel pump in POJ the 78 Bronco today. 2nd time in a few months. The one I took out was sticking and not pumping. It is running again.
I went on a test drive in my TJ with a father and his very attractive teenage daughter who had never driven a stick shift before. I know the guy, and I know he could hand me cash, probably from his wallet for the Jeep if she wrecked it, but it still was a scary ride. especially on east hwy 24.
Clean the idle scew seats tonight to fix a poor acceleration bog on the 78 Bronco. In checking the truck, I found one pf the fuel tank straps was broken. I used a rachet strap as a temporary fix.
