What did you do to your truck today..

I got lots of things holding me back from the next steps on mine, however, I have been using it this week as a daily driver, and enjoying it. Only problem is, at 10 MPG, and gas prices at near $3.50 per gallon, it stings a little and my trips have to be deliberate.

10 was what it was getting before, I haven't tested it since its running on all cylinders. However I won't write momma bragging about its new and improved gas mileage, because its not really all that noticeable. LOL!

I bought an 02 Ranger that had a bad tranny for 400 bucks and then sold it a few months later. Who knew finding a 4x4 5R44E that bolts up to a 3.0 V6 was a unicorn of a transmission to find. Considering it had 300k miles (and it was a farm truck too) it was filthy and I just didn't think it was worth my time to fix a truck in it's condition. If I had an unlimited budget I would have probably put a brand new engine and tranny in but I didn't and had no desire to do so later so I sold it the day after I posted it for sale. They seem to be quite the desirable trucks but I can see why with some of the things I've seen them do.
