You can rent a valve spring compressor for free at Oreilly's (at least I think) Just have to pay the amount of the tool, and if you don't bring it back, its yours, otherwise return it in good shape and get your money back.
you can rent some STRANGE stuff there. ask del, i rented some strange, never before seen pully puller designed only for a 95 dodge neon hunk of crap. they had one in manhattan and it worked great (TWICE, lol)
That is true, this situation pretty much forced me to get off my butt and to start working on the exhaust. It was worth seeing Jamie getting a good laugh out of it when I pulled up to the house yesterday
Installed the new U joint in my new axle last night. NICE!!!!
Sat or Sunday I plan on installing the axle, then inspect the other axle to see if I can make it a spare, and pull the drivers axle and replace the U joint on it too.
Justin when I get ready to pull them axles, I will call ya and see if ya want to watch, I remember when I was wanting to do mine the first time it would have been helpful if I knew what the Bleep I was doing...
What I did to my truck? How bout think I threw a rod or a wrist pins coming loose,
but not sure yet sounds awful bad though
