what is ?

What is Bio-diesel? I know that its probably a dumb question but what exactly is it? Can you use it in all diesels? Thanks for your help

It's diesel made from other than petroleum oils. Soybean oil, vegetable oil, animal fats etc. etc. You can use it safely in any diesel engine.....but the manufactures generally frown on it in concentrations higher than 5%

If you Diesel is 2007 or newer there is a problem having to do with Emission Control that needs to be dealt with, otherwise the difference is higher gel point, more lubrication, and a distinct smell that might make you or someone you drive by hungry...
