Rearend mounting question

Are the rear leaf spring mount locations the same on f1 and f3 , I just got a chassis engineering rear leaf kit and none of the brackets seem to line up. the holes seem to line up length wise but the holes in the frame are farther up hieght wise on the frame . so the brackets are bottomed out on the bottom of the frame and I cant go up any farther.just trying to fiqure out if i got the wrong brackets or if it is because it is an f3 frame cut into a f1. Also if anyone has the frame specs for the f1 that they can post I would appreciate it.

rear spring hangers on the F3 are 1" longer than the F1.

F3: 45"
F1: 44"

Sounds like someone modified them.

spring width itself for the F1 is 2", and the F3 is 2.25". I don't think there is any frame height differences between the two, but I've not measured an F3.

I'm pretty sure the frame rails are beefier on the F-2/F-3 than the F-1. I think the frame is higher. I have my F-2 in the garage but my F-1 is in storage right now.

Thanks for the replies Havi and Bob it looks like I will be drilling new holes for the mounts and welding up the old ones. Nothing ever seems to go the easy way but hopefully it all comes together sooner or later . Your help is greatly appreciated.
