Sounds like IPR o-rings are leaking. With a cold engine the oil is thick enough to build enough oil pressure to fire the injectors but once it heats up it thins out and leaks past them enough to keep it from starting. Once the engine is running the hpop has enough pressure to keep it running even with the bad o-rings.

I had this same problem about a month ago. Blue Mule is right, IPR o-rings are bad. Fairly cheap and not to bad of a job. Took me about two hours taking my time, I pulled my fuel bowl, everything is alot easier to get at with it out of the way JMO.....

how many o-rings are in the IPR or will i have to buy a set and replase all the o-rings in the fuel injector system? Is it a dealer item only?

Dealer item and International Harvester only as far as I know.
Maybe othere will chime in with more vendors.

IPR O-Ring Kit (for when IPR valve replacement is not required)

* (Ford) F6TZ-9C977-AN (F6TZ-9C977-AA?)
* (International) 1825806C92 (1825806C91?)
