what is the purpose of the 5/8 hoses that run from the valve cover "caps" to the air filter housing? There is 3 of these big hoses running into the filter housing ( one from each valve cover and one from the power steering pump area ). The air filter housing is worn and doesn't sit on my new carb very well so I might have to figure out a new setup of some kind for the air cleaner.
