Original color for my 1951 F-1

I have a 1951 F-1 and I believe the original color was Vermilion. My question is: What is the best way for a paint/body shop to get the correct vermilion color data ?

I found this link on this site. It has the codes you are looking for by year, color and paint manufacturer.

If your supplier doesn't have the formula in their records, they can call the manufacturer to get the formula. That's how I got my Vermillion Red formula from PPG.

Original color for my 1951 F-1

I have a 1955 F100 with color code Y and it looks like robin egg blue.
I tried opening the web site listed in this thread to research myself, but could not open it for some dumb reason.
Anyone know what official color Y is--thanks Scott
