o2 4x4 5.4 auto, wife works in woods, snow melting, deep spots in road,
it will go to high idle and trans will not shift, when it drys out all good
showa code p1121, happens even going slow, could this be sencer on trans getting wet, or just fan throwing water up to mas air and tps

sounds like the tps is either going bad, maybe has a crack or the plug is loose. the tranny problem is probably your computer going into limp mode. if it cant get certain readings, or contradicting readings, it goes into limp mode. its not smooth, but it'll get you home. dont know if its relevant, but my buddies ranger had a 15 dollar sensor on the rear differential of his ranger that gave the same symptoms.

 

this is third time for this and only when real wet roads,takes about 1hr or so to dry
then works fine,will try and check tps,mfs today will check back later
