if everything else is in good shape a shop can replace the panel or do a re stitch for a fraction of the cost of a new cove

stop buy trim shop and get a bid, shold be less than $200

if they need leather they can get factory match up

i have done it many times

They use a pattern that's in no way custom cut to each specific truck - they do a lot of cloth to leather conversions . .and they used the same kit on mine that was leather before.
When you first made a comment to me about my post it was to tell me that I was wrong about katzkins not working on factory leather. Then we went back and forth and now you admit yours arent katzkins. What point did you prove? Nothing? Katzkins still arent made for factory leather seats.

TnT, Nice looking seats. Real sweet considering all the work that goes into the total recover. The stock lower drivers side for my rig was 350.00usd through a local dealer at employee pricing, last year. Not installed and without heating unit. I am still thinking about it. Care for leather seats is real important up here, with our long bouts of below 0 weather. They need to remain supple to resist tearing and wear. The side of my lower (vinyl) have a crack from getting in and out smashing the bolster area. For such big cash, I would have hoped to have leather sides, but I guess not.

My seat is peeling and looks rough... I was thinking of setting king ranch type leather didn't really ever look at them figured the seats were the same but they seem to be a better grade of leather any ideas where to get them?
