I didn't read through the whole thread to see if anyone mentioned it, but you will most likely gain more power by simply removing the smog pump than you could ever hope to get from redirecting the air to your intake.

Can't resist posting my $0.02 here.

No 1: My bet is that it won't work. You will get more power from deleting the pump than from rerouting it into the intake.

No. 2: More importantly, everyone who has tried something like this is a hero to me. I have done plenty of things that myself and any other reasonable person would bet against, only to lose my own bet and still come out ahead. To the OP: Keep those gears turning upstairs. Just thinking about things like this, even if they don't work, will in itself set you up to have a lot of even better ideas down the road.

Bear in mind that if the most intelligent and reasonable person in the world tells you something won't work, that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Intelligence counts for a lot less in life than most people would like to imagine.

So, has anyone actually measured the results yet?
