It'll be just our secret. But one tip - if you park closer to a storm drain, you'll have less cleanup.

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

so those heads were way to tight, it took all my effort to get one of the head bolts off, i used a breaker bar + a pipe + a socket extention and it will wouldnt come out, here is a picture to show the bending breaker bar:

Any idea what caused that? They don't just come apart for no reason. Not saying you can always tell what happened, but it sure would be nice to know.

Was that a 3/8ths breaker bar you were using? I have a 1/2 or even a 1" breaker you could borrow if you still need it. I thought maybe the bolt let go. It was a little hard to tell from the angle you shot the pix.

There must not be too much cylinder wear since you were able to pull the piston out the top by hand without reaming the ridge.

the cylinder walls are very smoth. so i talked to a damage analist and this is what he thinks happened.

the rod had/got a crack on one side and just kinda vibraded for a bit then the other side just gave way, then the crank just beat the rod to no other. and we couldnt turn it over because the piston was into the head and the crank was up into the rod(but we were almost sure about that one anyways.
