It would be very cool if you drove dad's electric ranger to the next meet. Any chance of that?

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

Why not put a generator in the bad, then it'll be a hybrid electric.

Really, I was just joking. That'd be funny to see. Imagine what that sounds like at a stop light. "who's mowing their lawn?"

I've got a generator - but I don't know how many miles per gallon it'll get.

I think mine gets 4 hrs or more, it's not a big tank 2 gal maybe. 4hrs x 50mph = 200 so that's 50 to 100 mpg. Wow how much can you to with that?

Some of y'all know what of make that truck is. No, it's not a chebbie...or a toylet-a.

Since I have far more vehicles than most of the SoCal chapter members, loaning something out is no problemo.

Why you gotta rip on the Toilet-a-s??? You know they are pretty much the same as your "other make"

As for loaners - I'd offer to loan him something, but only 1 of my 6 (really 5) run at this time - and apparently even that one is a crapper

Do you have space to part out a truck? It'd be cool if we could get you a complete truck at a salvage auction to do a full swap.

I'm going to bet he doesn't based on the fact that the blue truck is sitting out front on the street.

I sent him a link/ph. # for a complete Dodge D350 with a cummins motor for a good price.

I know for a fact you can sell enough parts off a complete truck to pay for the motor, etc. - as I have just done it. I don't think he has the room to part out the dodge though. Even though that truck DESERVES a cummins in it
