Getting rid of it all depends on whether or not he will run one of those campers. I don't think he has one (roght Brady??) so I'd dump the extra weight as well.

if it was as simple as just getting rid of it i would have, this guy welded EVERYTHING. at this point it is just to much work, also i am thinking of building a tray that will sit on there for extra storage, or for dirt bikes/quad. so a step for when i have the tent in the bed of my truck camping.

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

ok so you guys gave me enough flack over my tag light i went and got one, and while i was at i got one for my glove box too.

for the glove box i ran a wire from my second fuse box on the constent side to the light and from the light to a switch to ground. the switch is out of a fire alarm pull station so when it is pushed in it disconects and when let out it conects, so i put it in place of the spring that was for the glove box door, works good.

i have also worked out my wireing for the extending bumper. i am going to have a extra set of 7 pin trialer plugs so i can unplug one and put in a longer set when i pull the bumper out so it will go like this: truck wires into a female plug to male plug to wires to male plug (i will have 2 sets of these one long and one short) to female plug to wires through the bumper to a female plug on the the trailer like normal. a bit convaluded but i think it will work...

What ways can't you use it with those plates? Historical plates could be cool!

If it's anything like Illinois, he can only put something like 100 miles on per month and only drive it to and from shows that it's part of. I looked into them for my Datsun way back when, but I forget the details.

Probably because that was his original renewal? I think the rule is that if it is over 3 months before the renewal you just pay for whatever revision you are making. If it's less than 3 months you have to pay the following years fee too.
