What backspacing for 18x9 w/ 35's?

Like the title says...

I'm trying to decide between 5.71 and 4.53 backspacing on a 18x9 rim with 35x12.50's on them. The tires have a 13.2 section width. The 5.71 with move the innermost edge of the wheel .21" inward. The 4.53 will move the innermost edge outward .97". (stock rim backspacing is 5.5", right?)

I dont want my tires protruding an ungodly amount, but I dont want to be rubbing away the inside wall of my tire either.

Whatcha think?

If offset is +40, then backdpacing is 5.32 on a 7.5 wheel
