Rub rub rub ....and make a wish

My spidey senses told me I was into something good when I dragged these out of a chicken coop with about a pound of vaseline smeared all over em. Despite their initial appearance I was pumped to find that they had a Ford bolt pattern. I've met the darnest folks and found some neat stuff, this one is the latest. Check out what kept me busy this weekend.
Took me about 4 hours to clan up all 4. As usual by the time I got to the 4th one it was easy.

My wish after all that rubbing was that they weren't all pited. There is some marks on em but they look great overall so I'm a happy camper

Rub rub rub I'm off to the tub
Enjoy

Very nice indeed.

I've always liked the Crangers.

Are they chrome or polished aluminum?

Chrome - they have been in storage for 15 years. (or more) The guy had a picture of the 74 truck he had them installed on. He was a very young man in the picture compared to the fella he had become so his memory may have been a bit off. The old truck in the picture was nice but long gone as is so often the story.

At least he was smart enough to protect them! Saw a 73-79 with Cragars on the weekend. IMHO, the slot rims look much better on these trucks than the Cragar style rims...

I guess the "barn finds" are finished and we've moved onto the "coop" finds.
Well done, I had these on my '70 mustang, (still may have one in the rafters?)nothing looks as good on a classic car. Let's see how the truck looks with them on.
