i got some crazt idea's floating about in my twisted mind for mine . new ones are just way too much , and i want metal for those , and mine are rotted in the center and the mounting " bars " on the underside . i'll kick myself for this as someone will do it now 'fore i get a chance but ...... the outside edge is good . cut out the center , by some rectangle stock and make new supports , proll roun the perimeter too for strength , and go to the local yards and find me some newer , 4 to be exact , ford tailgates . cut the centers out with the logo and put 'em in the middle . goofy i know , but when you are walking about in a daze most of the time the mind is out there !!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what I did, brightwork (cab skirt and running boards) were aluminum strips from Lowes that I cut\polished in my shop, exhaust tips are Roush 3" polished aluminum.

I've got a set of these tips. I think they would work well exiting through the running board.

I guess I'm still searching for a distinctive style for the exhaust tip and how it will exit the board.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this post. I've enjoyed looking through these galleries. Everyone did a great job!!

I wish we had a directory of the admitted darksiders on this site so that searching for information on custom touches would be easier. I haven't had a lot of luck doing searches.
