Need tags decoded- NumberDummy, thanks in advance.

NumberDummy, you are the dean of digits, the master of manuals, the sultan of sequences...well, you get the idea. I'd appreciate your help on this one. I think the first is my warranty tag (???- it was fastened under the seat somehow). I have to use underscores to keep everything spaced right.

M________33 4 6___________31H

The second is my driver's door tag.

I've told you this before. STOP POSTING THESE COLOR CHIPS. All you are doing is confusing people.

The digital format makes the chips appear too dark. And H is NOT Baja Beige!

There were three different shades of White used in the 1970's, so keep your opinion on what the color appears to be...to yourself.

In other words = BUTT OUT!

I'm tired of correcting your BS posts.

Hey Anthony...
My '75 Ford Shop Manual sez 79-guy's...
'74 F100 rear axle code "15" is a 3750# F150 axle. LOL :)
Get it yet? (they didn't make F150's in '74 model year;)

"it's a Ford thing! ;)"

Alvin in AZ
ps- I have a '75 F150 special ordered it late Nov '74 @ 21 years old
...ordered the Shop Manuals to go with it and had them longer. LOL :)
...that's 34 years and 3 months now, if you hurry, you might catch up? ;)
pps- Bill the ND's dad was a Ford dealer.
ppps- In the "tips and tricks" thread I posted I pulled a power steering
pump out of a "Ford car". At 8 years old Bill could have told me what it
was and all sorts of stuff about it, the year, the model, the trim package.
Me? :/
"it was a Ford, it was big, it was light yellow and it faced the east"
LOL :)
pppps- A couple things happened before you were born?

Bill the ND's dad was an OLDSMOBILE, MERCEDES-BENZ, MASERATI & CITROEN dealer.

If he had been a Ford dealer, I prolly would have gone to work for GM!

ps: I beat you to the axle decode.

The 3750 lb. axle was introduced in 1973, prior to the F150's introduction in 1975.

So...to be correct, the F150 used the F100's axle!

Here I was thinking I was wrong. LOL :)
So what gives... they made 3750 lb. axles in '74 model year?

If so, were some of those F100 pickups also rated at 6050 lbs GVW? :)

Alvin in AZ
ps- mines' the same as a 15 but a H4 instead so has Traction-Lok :)
second one down came off my F150's rear axle...

The color thing is weird, but that's what led me to post this thread. I have the medium green interior, but there is no green anywhere else on this truck...well, except for the mold I am still cleaning out...I saw another post somewhere where they said that "M" was Wimbledon white, but I knew my door tag said "H," which someone else had said (before this thread) was Baja Beige.

I am positive that the door tag says H for the color...could this possibly be a carry-over from '72, because all of the body panels are off-white...I guess similar to a Wimbledon white...and everything else that is on the tag exactly matches the equipment I have. All of my VIN numbers are the same on every tag I have found (door, rear door pillar, seat buck tag).

Or could it be as simple as someone on the assembly line that day not knowing or being able to see the difference between an "M" and an "H"?

All I really know is that I'm glad it's not Baja Beige and medium green. YARGH!
Everything else is confirmed, though...thanks again NumberDummy.
