programer question

i have my truck programed to the 1st level on the hypertech programer and yesterday i pluged the programer in to change the setting and the programer would not start. if i buy another programer will it work even though my truck is already tuned with this tuner. can it be that the comupter on my truck is bad?

if your truck starts its not the pcm. i'd first call hypertech and ask them what's up.

Did it work before? Does the programmer plug into the ODII port? I blew a fuse a while ago and it took the power supply from that plug. Just a thought!

it seems like i just read a post earlier this week where someone had the fuse blow to the cigarette lighter and that stops a programmer from communicating with the pcm.
