Leveling a f150
I have a '95 F150. It is a 2wd with 5.0 L, 3.55LS, and an automatic transmission with overdrive, maybe E4OD?
Anyways, I want to have the truck leveled. Is there anyway to do without any damage or lots of work? I do not want to lift it. But maybe put some larger tires when these ones go bald.
Are there shocks or springs that I can buy to raise the front end?
Here is my picture of my truck, it is all stock and no modifications, and less than 100,000 mi, so I need it to last without much work.

you have two basic choices, and neither are that much trouble, or gunna cost very much money. just get a leveling kit. of the two choices, you can get a kit that either has blocks that you place on your front springs, or you can buy a kit that simply has a little bit larger spring. like i said neither of which will cost you very much to do. just google leveling kit for 95 f150, and you will find all that you need.

What would be better? The springs or the spacer? I do not want to mess up this truck.
Also, would this mess up the steering and suspension stuff?
Would there be any problems with this modification? I dont want to spend a lot and want to keep it as "stock" as I can.
Another question, I tend to go on dirt roads a lot, and 4x4 would be helpfull, but I dont want to buy a 4x4 because I have this truck already, but would a locker help?

Why not just lower the rear, its easier to do with drop shackles or removal of the existing block, and you won't have to mess with steering adjustments. A locker would definitely help offroad, but you can also rebuild the Trac-Loc rearend you have to deliver near locker performance, simply restack the clutch packs and shim them for more spring preload.

I am not a big fan of lowered trucks really. Its the perfect height for me right now as I am not a hardcore offroader, but the leveling is more for looks, and to put bigger tires. I need this truck to get through some unmaintained roads. I hope this explains why, also thanks for the idea for the locker too, but I need to study on that stuff before I even get to work on that though.

I would just leave it alone and put all terrain tires on it and call it done. If it doesn't already have traction lock in the rear end then I would put that or some other form of limited slip in it.
Get some 30x9.50x15 or 31x10.50x15. If your truck has 3.08 gears then stick with the smaller tires. If it has 3.55 or better then the 31 would be alright. Don't go any bigger than that.
I had leveling coils on the front of mine for a while. I prefer the ride quality, handling and driveability of it now that it is stock again. It is much better with the stock springs.

I had to get longer shocks to go with the springs, but thats it. I did have problems getting the alignment right. I had to take it to 2 shops to get it done correctly. However, I'm still not convinced that it was right at the time.
I took it all off because I didn't see the point since I don't really off road. It also rode like crap.
You do realize that if it is level as soon as you put anything in the bed or tow a trailer the back will become squatted and then the front will be high. That will make it handle poorly and your headlights will be pointing at the sky.
