I am just assuming you have a 38gal tank so if that is the case then at 11mpg you are only going to get 418 miles per tank. At 17 mpg you will get 646 miles per tank.

If fuel stays at $2.50 a gal it will take you 25,000 miles to break even with the $2000 you are going to spend in mods. If you stayed at 11mpg it would take you 60 fill ups to get to 25,000 and at 17 mpg it would only be 39 fill ups.

The difference between 60 and 39 fill ups at $2.50 a gal is $1995.00.
So if Diesel was at say 3.25 Then what lol. Sorry for making you think

It will take just under 20,000 miles if fuel is 3.25 a gallon.

Edit: now you need to take into account I went with a straight 17mpg and didn't take into account when you get on it and your mileage goes down or when you tow and it goes down. Just tell your parents you will get on average an extra 225 miles per tank and that is worth it right there!

Cops in Michigan protect — and serve doughnuts

CLARE, Mich. – "Cops & Doughnuts" is more than a punchline. It's now a bakery in Michigan — owned by nine full-time employees of the Clare Police Department.

The newly renamed bakery opened Wednesday, offering doughnuts, cookies, muffins, brownies and bread. It also has mugs and T-shirts bearing the "Cops & Doughnuts, 100 Percent Cop-Owned" logo, and phrases including "You Have the Right to Remain Glazed" and "Handcuffs and Cream Puffs."

Officer Al White says the officers were concerned when the Clare City Bakery's owners decided to throw in the towel. The 113-year-old bakery would have become the sixth empty storefront in Clare's three-block downtown.

The officers were on hand for the grand reopening but have hired a manager and will employ local students as staff.

That's hilarious...I wouldn't mind owning a franchise as long as I could do it from another location!!!

Make mental note...when doing motel books have glass of wine in hand.

Damn Cris that was pretty kewl. I am not a math chicca at all. makes my head swim. If there was an FTE math award it would definitely go to you.

Well I got popped this morning for my hollowed cats. Frikken trooper pulled up next to me in the Wal Mart parking lot and asked about my exhaust. I said nothing unusual. I said I had the route of the tail pipe changed a bit as I back into a tree stump doing 30 mph and it tweaked everything out. He then commented that he could smell the exhaust and hear the noise difference. Im thinking what did he say before pulling me..."Go Go Gadget Nose and ears?" WTF? Does it really smell different? I thought it sounded way to kewl. I think his prickometer was low and he needed the boost it so he got me. so anyway I have to have my truck inspected and prove my exhaust is normal. GREEEEEEEAT! My car repair buddy here said if worse comes to worse we will head to salvage yard and see what we can come up with. Or I just get a fake write off.
Do they have nothing better to do? My local PD leave me alone. So now I am going pout on this today.Shoulda stayed in bed.

Whats up gang?
Sorry to hear about your exhaust troubles Moose.
I'm a little soar today after all the tubing yesterday. We hadn't been in a couple years and it was great. Got some decent video but the camera ladies missed all the good wipe outs. There was some lost shoes, some near loses on some bathing suit bottoms and I lost my watch. Cant wait to get back out there! Would go today but its raining like crap.
