And in other news:

Looks like I'm getting a 4" turbo-back exhaust + performax gauges + 6637 from Clay within the next few weeks.

That's the plan with the car, my 20 year project. It may not a concourse resto, but it will be the original color and it will have an FE based engine in it. A friend of mine owned the car for 10 years, and I wanted it from the first time I saw it. Took 3 years for the price to come down to where I could justify buying it.

Okay, so I forgot to tell you all what happened to me Saturday after work (at the guard unit)... I'm heading up a six-lane road and coming up to a red light. There are like 10-12 cars in each of the center & right lanes, none in the left lane, so I look back and there is a Dodge truck (gasser Hemi, as it turned out), about 10-15 car lengths behind me in the left lane. I change lanes, and get to the light. The Dodge guy is kind of close to my tail gate, so when the light turns green, I kind of gun it (not hammering it, mind you -- I'm still in my Daily Driver tune) and change lanes to give the guy room, eventually ending up in the right lane. Now, at the next light, the guy is on my ass again, yelling and gesturing out the window at me. So I flipped it to my Extreme tune and power brake it pouring a HUGE cloud of smoke right at him, then take off. The guy tries to keep up and can't. LMAO!!

Now he finally catches up and gets beside me, but then the last light before my on-ramp to the toll-road is coming up (I slow down since it's red). I take off since it turned green right then, keep in mind he's in the left lane still. I move over, into the lane to go around the clover-leaf on-ramp to the highway, and this jack-ass cuts off three lanes of traffic to get behind me again, but he's behind the car behind me. On the way around the ramp, he tries passing the other car on the right (still going around the ramp!!). Now we're about to the highway, so I nail it. I'm over 100mph (speed-o dropped to 0 LOL!!) and he's WAAAY back there now. He tried to catch up a but got caught up in some traffic and got back off the toll-road a couple exits up. I don't know what set the guy off, but it was amusing dealing with him. I was laughing about it the whole time....
