No worries!! I think Lisa did break it! HAHAHA! Congrats on LazyBones finally getting a job! At 2 miles I hope he has a bike to ride there, or that is gonna be one warm walk!
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

He had a nice cool ride to work, I had the air cranked in the truck. lol.

I think I am a little over qualified to work there, so that makes you WAY over qualified to work there. I had my fair share of food industry jobs before I had my girls, if I went back it would be into a bar again and just try to stick to drinks. I hated coming home smelling like grease....

The BEST thing about those jobs are that they will NEVER hit your resume! Kinda tough with the small town you're in, but for Cris or me, with the sheer number of places like that, we could take a job like that and if they got too uppity just walk out the door... the paycheck though... WOW

Cool... New OT. I got to come home early today -- the knuckle heads forgot to send Verizon the info on our test phones for this week, so none of us can activate them. LOL... NICE SHORT day.

I used to wear the 'hammocks, but I'm a boxer-brief guy now. Much more comfy down there. LOL...

Congrats on the kid's job Cris!! That's great news!

As far as working at subway, I think anyone would understand. All you have to say is Dem Pres & "DowN-Jones"... Man, this is when I miss Mark -- I know he's have something to say.....

Well Cris, I'm glad Chase finally has a job and will get out of your way for at least a few hours in the day.

Mike, how is your day going?

Joe congrats on the short day.

Chrysler & GM are asking for more $$ too. Man, I'm glad I'm a Ford guy!! I know they got some the first time around, but at least they're not back with their hand out AGAIN!!

And don't worry -- "Help is on the way". "Change is coming". Yeah, right. I'm watching my retirement $$$ go to chit now, and he's crowing about how "95% of us will get a tax cut". Oh boy. $13 extra a week in my paycheck. Thanks. Thanks a lot. I'd rather have my retirement funds.

So while I'm venting, here's another one that when you think about it should get your blood pressure up:

THE JOB - URINE TEST (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)

I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%.

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don' t have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please unders tand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their A**, doing drugs, while I work. . ... . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Something has to change in this country -- and soon!

Yeah Joe, that $13/week doesn't quite make up for the retirement fund, does it? Don't worry though, change is coming, in the form of pennies on the dollar for what you lose from your retirement fund. If you're lucky.
