Not a thing. It was put into a pond before we bought it. We fixed it and have put 20k on it.
Mom's POS Dodge minivan is falling apart so she wants to trade the perfectly good Jeep in on the cash for clunkers program. That means a perfectly good Jeep would go to the crusher. I'm trying to prevent that.
That's unfortunate. I hate seeing a perfectly good vehicle go to waste.

Proud of you for trying to keep a good truck out of the recycling bin. Gotta say - I'm not all that impressed with this "crush vehicles that work, but call them clunkers in the name of the environment to stimulate the economy" plan... seems wasteful... of vehicles and tax payer dollars. I guess it's silly to expect much from the people who plan to fix all our problems by Taxing us out of a recession, and who's newest solution is to adopt a socialist (communist?) health care system that already doesn't work in two countries. My apologies - I suspect this was off subject. I just hate to see good trucks - especially ones that could be turned into great budget projects - go to the crusher in the name of hypocrisy, especially when finding a budget starter truck is how most of us got into this hobby in the first place.

I'm trying my damnedest to keep this rig out of the crusher/shredder. Only thing wrong with it is a rotted out muffler, tach can be finnicky, and it's missing the strap to keep the passenger door from going past 90 degrees. Actually it's not even missin the strap. My brother snapped the head off one of the bolts that holds the bracket on so it just needs a new bolt.
Anyways now that the day heat is gone I'm off to mow lawns.
hell Caleb that is a normal day for me. only i start a 3-4 am, and work till 5-6 pm
Well it wa sallrite once the 7 day weeks stopped. this week we are catching up so we can actuall have two days off. once peanut harvestin time comes around though we will back to 7 day weeks again.

No truck at the moment...soon to be a big honkin' gas guzzlin' 4x4!
I got the truck and trailer hooked and got the trimmer and blower on the truck. Then I went over started the mower an loaded it on the trailer. I then strapped it down and drove to my grandparents house, dropped the ramps, took off the strap, and tried to start the mower. Nothing. Pull and pull an pull some more. Nothing. Decide to let it sit for a minute so I string trim the whole property and try to start it again. Still nothing so I just strap it down and put the ramps up. So I decide to go say hi to my grandparents new neighbors. Turns out the guy is a cop and his wife is pretty darn hot. And his buddies who were gonna "help him move in" spent more time doing 12oz curls than anything else.
When I went over it was just his buddies outside. One of em offered me a drink and was about to grab me a beer. I told him I wasn't old enough and I've got to drive home. The guy asks me how old I am I told him I'm 16. Guy says "holy ***** you look a lot older than that." I thought it was pretty funny.
