I was thinking back problems from the airbag myself. The way his back took the impact is not a good thing. I have become a sensible adult WTH is up with that. Years ago I would have laughed my butt off now I see injury, medical care etc. I am now old.

Well they still have not found a local kiddo who fell into river in Dry Fork of Paint Rock creek in Basin Wyo area. Several of my horse peeps were riding up there and he slipped into water during a break. 19 years old. Prayerfully they will find him soon.

Storm is kicking up its heels. Wonder what the weather holds. More rain? more than likely. It was just too nice lately.

Chris sorry about the chicca. Sometimes when a group of girlfriends get together the loser lonely girls convince the one who has a great guy that everything is wrong. they do this because they are miserable and misery loves company. They cannot bear to see one of their posse happy and in a relationship. But on the other hand long distance sucks. It takes a lot of work and both parties have to be able to deal with it and handle it. Maybe if it was not for the pressure of the girls it was just too much for her to handle? maybe she needs someone who is closer? I just hope you find your happy place in all of it. We are all here if you need us.

I strongly feel that it was just from the drinks and what Moose said below.

Chris, when I read this, my thoughts were this:

You are extremely mature for your age. Yeah yeah I know you hear that all the time and bla bla and it probably gets thrown around too much. But, when you're considering relationships, it makes a huge impact. Does not sound like Julie is in the same place as you are. She as at a point in her life where she wants to float around and date and have fun and get drunk and not have any responsibilities or commitments. You aren't like that at all, you are one of those rock solid people who take on a challenge and are true to your commitments. If Julie can't support you for who you are and the things you are accomplishing, she isn't the one for you.

I know as an outsider its easy for me to say things, harder for you to think about because you are the one hurting. But, at least know that I have been there before, had my fair share of relationships and managed to learn from them in the process.

Just realize that if she wants to run off and do her thing, its not any of your doing and try not to blame yourself.

Heck, were I single, I wouldn't think twice about going on a date with you, because you are that honest, hard-working type of person.

Well thank you first off.

I understand what your saying, I really do, but I have to go back and at least try. Thats how Im looking at it right now, and some of you guys might not think its the best option, but Im stubborn and my minds made up. It would be easier to get a dead mule to work then change my mind as things stand right now.

Aww your gonna make me blush..

I personally applaud you not giving up Chris. Do all you need to do. If it ends up working out, Fantastic. If not, you can sit back and say it was not for lack of trying.

Thank you Jay. Thats exactly how I feel about it too.

On another note I just had to cut a good amount of Cassidy's (my littlest sister) hair. She got her hair all wound around a comb and by the time I knew what happened it was too late to save much...Imagine that picture of the guy who ran over the mattres and the wire wrap around the driveshaft..yea it was worse then that...

Howdy all! Tomorrow morning I head out (once again!) for the drive to Maryland. I can't believe how many times I've done this trip....

Chris - I'll be back in MD then, and might still be unemployed! I'll PM you my number so if you need company, chatter, or a DD, I'll be around. I'll say this though: I admire your willingness to work/fight for what you want, but when it comes to people, make sure they are willing to do the same for you. You don't always get what you give, even though it may be deserved. If it does work out, then great! And I know this will do diddley to ease the grief, but if it doesn't, then one day she will look back and know how bad she messed up. Never sell yourself short... find your equal.

I think I'm going to see about getting another tat while I'm here in CO. why not? have fun all!!

I remember that mattress picture. Ouch! Do you have a before and after picture? Speaking of hair issues: Right before our daughters wedding last summer the two flower girls (sisters) decided to give themselves haircuts. Oh yeah! That was good. They looked like cute little boys.

Have a safe tat and drive Brendan.

Well I'm officially a bum. I slept til like 12:30, but dang I feel great now.

I think I'm gonna go offload the mower and then head to Advanced and Lowes.

This is the first step in getting my truck ready to roll.

And on a random note I look like I'm bleeding out of the base of all my fingernails. It's just red primer from when I was cleaning up the paint gun, but it still looks weird.

Hey y'all!
busy day here. Just taking break from craziness so I don't fall further into its grasp.

Have Holland about ready to go to camp. I saw her duffel and reminded her that she will be gone 6 days and just going to horse camp not leaving for an extended tour with the peace corps. So we are going to repack. She is crying about panty lines and her breeches. OMG she is a wee lass of 13 not gracing the cover of Vogue. So now we have to stop at two different stores on our drive tomorrow to look for these undies. There are no English riding places around but she seems to be 13 and if my knowledge serves me well this is the age of perfection and knowing it all.

I am glad to have her home but a break from the attitude fairy will be sweet.

Good afternoon everyone!!

Chris I really hope Julie knows just how lucky she is to have you in her life. You are willing to do something that I don't think many men would. I really can't add anything that hasn't already been said, just wanted to tell you how great you are!

Moose, don't ya love little girls! I have to say I remember not wanting panty lines at her age too. Just be thankful she isn't already wearing thongs already..... I hope they find that young man in your area, good thoughts your way!
