I had to do a little yard work and all my F450/F550's were out working, so I brought home my Kubota KX161-3 with the Ex. Don't get all excited about being well overweight, I live about 2 miles from the yard/office - all back roads. The hoe cashes in at about 11,500# and the trailer is right around 2,000 pounds for a grand trailer weight of about 13,500#. As you can expect, it got the job done. I could really use a gear swap, it becomes more important with this kind of weight. I don't plan on towing this much weight with the ex often. The 2012 F550 with the 6.7 and 4.88 gears tows this machine almost without telling. The Ex certainly knew it was there but the suspension felt good with minor squat and naturally, the V10 was happy with the job (not as happy as the 2012 F550 with the 3V V10).
