I just picked it up, 600 $$ Couldnt pass it up. Its only a 7.6, but at that price I couldnt complain. I had to go and get all the wiring and brackets for the excursion. I put it on saturday and we got a foot of snow on monday. I thought for sure we wouldnt get anymore snow. Maybe I will have to buy a snowmobile for it to stop snowing lol.
I did see the pic of your ex with the plow on it a few threads ago.

Ya, that was 600 just for the plow, it was 1500 for the wiring, mounting brackets and remote joystick. So it was 2100 all together. So you definatly got a better deal. But even at 2100 its still better that 3500 for a new one. I wanted a fisher, but couldnt find one for the right price. But I am only doing my driveway anyway. So I guess no biggie. Works great though. I like it so far.

Hey Skins...well, to be honest, that X in my pic belongs to my parents. It's just that my dad seems to have lost his driving "edge" in his "old" age (he's 65), so I do the towing, and let him ride along.

Anyway, those cab lights were on there when my folks bought it. I gotta say I like 'em, too. I think they're pretty generic, so if you do some looking around, you might find some out there that you like. Wiring and mounting clearance lights ain't hard (did a set with a buddy on his Suburban )...just takes some guts to drill the holes!

And hey...I like your X too! Must be the color or something...
Pat

Yeah I'd be kinda hesitance to drill the holes in that pretty paint on the roof. And I know how you feel, I inherited mine too. My dad bought it new in 2000 and put 247,000 miles on it. He finally wanted something new and bought a new Toyota Tundra a year ago in February. I'm the only one that drives the Ex at all now. He misses it and regrets going Toyota. He wishes he had gotten an F-Series
