I realize that this isn't Excursion related but I feel very connected to those here in this Excursion forum...so please forgive my off-Excursion topic...

I've got this great friend of mine and he has been diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. His spirits are awesome and he has started an experimental injection radiation treatment this past week. He is one of 3 people in the country trying this treatment. His prayer army is huge but we need to recruit more folks and I know you guys are awesome. His 17 year old daughter has made a request to try and enlist prayers from all 50 states. So far she has come up with the following list of states.

3. California
4. Colorado
5. Georgia
6. Idaho
7. Indiana
8. Kentucky
9. Maryland
10. Michigan
11. Minnesota
12. New Hampshire
13. New Jersey
14. New York
15. Ohio
16. Oregon
17. Pennsylvania
18. South Carolina
19. Texas
20. Wisconsin

I know we've got at least one member from Hawaii and we've got many others in darn near every other state. What a way to lift his spirits in this time of his journey and battle. He is an incredible person and father. No matter what state you guys are from if you can add him to your prayer chains at church and keep his family in your daily prayers that would be awesome. His name is Dan Harhigh.

If you can respond back to me either here or in PM to let me know where you are from (i.e. state) and that you are praying for him or you can simply visit his caring bridge website (just search for his name if you are so inclined) and sign his guestbook with your state to show your support and blessings to his amazing family. I realize many on here have folks fighting similar battles and Dan is no different than anyone else...but his battle is a hard one. Pancreatic cancer is a very difficult cancer to beat since it is usually found so late in the game as his was.

Thanks again and forgive my off-Excursion topic but there are times we simply need to PRAY and Dan needs our prayers.

I'll keep Dan (That is his name, correct?) in our prayers and put in a prayer request at church.

 

From my family, we will keep his entire family in our prayers. You get 3 from me (NC), my wife who's in (FL) and my sons in (WA) and my countless friends around the world, serving their country

 

Prayers for the Fathers will to be done and for comfort and strength to the family from Nova Scotia, Canada.

 

I am not from any of the 50 states, but sure would like to add some prayers for your pal from BC Canada.

 

He will be in my families prayers. He's got one from tennessee
