Motorcraft oil filter from Wal-Mart.
Fuel filters from local International dealership part # 1847170C92 (don't ask for filters for a Ford just give them the part #)
I switched to Mobil 1 5w40 Diesel after Ford started recommending THEIR Synthetic for the 6.0.
Besure to drain the HFCM.

I agree with the fuel filters from the International Dealership...here in Vegas I get them for $38.

For oil I use Shell Rotella T Syn and motorcraft filters.

I use Valvoline Extreme Blue full synthetic 5W-40W, Ford recommends this. Checker Auto (partsamerica.com) has Gallon Jugs on sale for $18.00 and the OEM Ford oil filter for $25.00.

Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module. It is mounted to the frame on the drivers side of the truck. The filter inside of it has a material that separates water from the fuel. Draining it removes the water (and residual fuel) from it.

Oh, and I use 5w40 synthetic oil year round with Motorcraft/Racor filters.

Royal Purple

Seems to be working well. A little pricey. Will call you with more info. Enjoy your vacation. Avoid those pesky game wardens. lol
